[DID NOT ATTEND: April 24, 2026] Fishbone / Planta Industrial
I heard about this Fishbone tour and I was really excited to go. I had two choices, Garwood or Philly. I don’t love he Garwood venue, it’s a little weird, but it’s impossible to beat it for proximity.
And, honestly, Garwood is so small compared to Brooklyn Bowl, that I was practically on the stage. They may have had more fun at Brooklyn Bowl because they would have had more room to move around, but I think they liked the intimacy of Garwood. I know I did.
We had Catbite open the show and they were a lot of fun. I didn’t know Planta Industrial. They are two Dominican artists (Saso and akathedarknight) from the Bronx. They have a punk attitude (and sound) with lyrics sung (and rapped) largely in Spanish. I’d like to see them in the future–I’ll bet their live show is a ton of fun.
