[DID NOT ATTEND: October 17, 2026] Scene Queen / Wargasm / Bailey Spinn
I saw Scene Queen open for Babymetal two years ago. I had never heard of her before the show.
Scene Queen is Hannah Rose Collins and she makes “bimbocore” music. It’s a mix of feminist empowering music and overly sexual empowering music. Scene Queen more or less raps (and screams) to heavy guitars.
Her sex songs are way over the top (and there were a bunch of kids at this show for the very PG Babymetal who were probably not quite ready for lyrics like

On stage, Scene Queen was a ton of fun. Engaging with the audience (she ran down and high fived everyone in the front) and having her band take a “15 minute intermission break” during the set with a pink teapot. A voice announced that they were the opening act and did not get a break. She also took the time to sign someone’s trans flag and to wish everyone a happy belated Pride Month. I was glad the audience was so supportive.
I don’t know that I’d ever listen to her on purpose and I’m very curious how long she’ll be around, but it was a wild opening act.
So, she’s still around. I didn’t hear anything about this show until recently, but I wouldn’t have been going because there were several other shows this weekend.
Wargasm (UK) [there was an American band called Wargasm in the late 90s] play a kind of digital nu-metal. Evidently their live shows are insane. There are only two people in the band (three more when touring). Lots of screaming. They’d be interesting to see. They haven’t released much, although they have some new singles out in the last few years.
Bailey Spinn is Bailey Rose Spinnenweber, a singer-songwriter and TikTok creator. She rose to prominence through her point-of-view videos on TikTok and has been included in People magazine’s list of emerging artists. I listened to a song and it was catchy is not very original.
