[DID NOT ATTEND: October 20, 2024] Acid Mothers Temple / Spirit Mother

I try to never miss an Acid Mothers Temple show.  But they placed this one on the night of a special day for someone in my family.  So there was no way I’d be going out to any shows.

It would have been interesting to see them on a small stage like Milkboy.

But AMT tends to come back every year or so, so I hope to see them next year.

I didn’t know Spirit Mother.

Their blurb says:

Spirit Mother is a heavy rock band with their sound anthologized through a folk-informed and classical lens. Their dynamic and imposing wall of sound, coupled with a driving backbeat, grips through atmospheric strings and haunting vocals.

They seem like a fuzzy psychdelic rock band that should work with AMT although they’re a bit heavier, I can see the crowd getting into them.
