I’m moving all of the old TV Posts from my TV Tab to individual posts. Why? I’m not sure. But here’s the one from last season. I’m going to put any thoughts from today at the end of each post, as necessary.
[ORIGINAL POST BEGINS]
Okay, the TV season is half over, shows got canceled by the networks and also got canceled by us. So, we have pruned ourselves down to just a few shows, mostly sitcoms. The really bad news is that our Canadian satellite is no longer active. Bell Expressvue has kicked us out so we no longer have our access to TV up north. Sigh. Wither Corner Gas?
The Big Bang Theory–We’ve seen a bunch of repeats lltely and it is quickly becoming a big hit in the house.
[And, yes indeed it did become a big hit]
How I Met Your Mother–Coming close to beating The Office.
[And, yes we do love Barney]
The Office–Still #1
[The wedding was so touching!]
New Adventures of Old Christine–Still funny.
[Boy I didn’t write much last year. This show has been getting better and better]
30 Rock–I’m liking more this season, although the adoption subplot is lame.
[I don’t really remember that subplot but I’m glad it’s gone.]
Chuck–The first show that I actually missed once the Christmas hiatus started
[Yay Chuck!]
Robot Chicken. Hilarious puppeteering!
[Now on DVD!]
Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job. Possibly the weirdest non-animated show on TV.
[Also on DVD]
Limbo:
Project Runway–Who even knows what will happen to it.
[It moved to L.A. and kinda sucked. I think Lifetime is showing too much talking heads and not enough sewing]
America’s Next Top Model–I’m sure we’ll watch it but at this point we fast forward through 90% of the show.
[Yea that tiny models gimmick? Yawn.]
Bye Bye: We’ve given up on
Pushing Daisies–canceled
[I’m adding this to the list of shows that I’ve killed.]
Life on Mars-5 queued on Tivo that we never watched
[I really really liked the British version. I just never got into this one. And evidently neither did anyone else as it has been canceled too.]
The Mentalist-ditto
[I did enjoy that first hour, but I just can’t get into detective procedurals.]
Fringe-We wanted to like it but it never inspired us to press View Now.
[We watched about 6 shows, but yeah, we just didn’t care all that much.]
[Huh. That’s all we watched back then? I was sure we had more shows on our queue. Oh that’s right, it’s all Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder, Maisy and Little Bear].
