I Just Read About That…

Back in November, I promised a faithful reader that I would provide updates about the upcoming Edmonton Folk Festival. I secretly hope I can go to it although realistically, getting to Edmonton from New Jersey for a concert seems pretty unlikely.

The festival is August 6-9th.

And, just to make myself jealous, here’s the first batch of confirmations:

Kathleen Edwards (whom I love on John Doe’s “The Golden State”)

Loudon Wainwright III (yes!)
Sam Baker (from Lambchop) with Gurf Morlix
Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir

These are just some of the bands appearing.  And I so wish I could go.
